MP for Krachi Nchumuru Constituency donate 260 dual desks to GES to distribute to school in the district.


                  
 The Member of Parliament
(MP) for Krachi Nchumuru Constituency in the Volta Region, Hon John Majisi has
donate 260 dual desks to the Ghana Education Service to distribute to the
school in the district. He said the dual desks will help over 500 school
children in the community.
 According to him, the donation was to create a
conducive environment for the pupils to be able to study well and improve their
academic performance. Hon Majisi said, he normally visit school and see school
children either sitting on benches or lying on the floor to study and write
notes, a situation teachers said is affected their academic performance.
He added that previous
years he has made several donation like, 700 dual desks which help about 1400
school children in the Constituency.
Motor bikes, offices furniture for GES to
help running activities in the district.

 25 desktop computers and over 50
laptops in a high speed in the study of ICT in the schools. 
Exercise books,
mathematical sets, roofing sheets and construction of pavilions to help
eliminate some school under trees.

do sporting activities.
He advised GES to use the
donation for the purpose why it is provided to help contribute to ensuring
quality education and effective training of quality human resource for the
country’s development.
 
Hon Majisi assured GES his
commitment to allocate resource for teaching and learning materials and the
provision of a motivational package for teachers.
The MP pleaded with the GES
to ensure good use and maintenance of the furniture to help it last for
long.

 Meanwhile the GES thanked the
honorable MP and promised that teachers will ensure a proper use of the
furniture to enhance their durability.
