Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana a.k.a Ori dream of becoming a Member of Parliament to serve and represent the Bole-Bamboi Constituency became a reality on 7th January, 2017. HE HAS PROVEN TO BE THE MAN OF THE MOMENT

The opportunity and honor done him by the people of Bole-Bamboi gave a new path of hope to the entire youth of the NDC.

The leadership we bestowed on you goes with a huge responsibility. Alhaji Yussif Sulemana owe it a responsibility to effectively and efficiently represent Bole-Bamboi Constituency as member of parliament, which in the last 21 months since he took the oath of office as our member of parliament at the inauguration of the seventh parliament of the forth republic of Ghana, We have no doubt he have fairly and competently represented and served us very well at committee, constituency level and contributed to debates on the floor of parliament.so far so good

Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana a.k.a Ori score 90% of parliamentary attendance and have within the 21 months; spoken about 30 times on the floor of parliament either a question or contribution to debates.

Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana a.k.a Ori have restored the name of the constituency to its former glory as it was in the days of Former President John Dramani Mahama when he took his turn to represent the Bole-Bamboi-Constituency as Member of Parliament from 1997-2008 where bole-Bamboi became a household name across the country and Africa.

Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana a.k.a Ori continue to bring to limelight the name of the constituency and position it well to attract the attention of government, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and other stakeholders in our developmental agenda to make available to us the needed development.

It is therefore, very fair and moral to account to you the gains and successes we have chalked together as a constituency by reviewing almost half of his first term in parliament.

As Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi, Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana a.k.a Ori have identified three major sector of the economy as his priority area to heavily support and invest in during the four year tenure and they are as follows: EDUCATION, HEALTH AND AGRICULTURE, COMMUNITY/SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT

1. EDUCATION
Education is undoubtedly the bedrock of development in this modern day society; In every developing society, education has been found to be the back bone and Bole-Bamboi constituency is not an exception. As Member of Parliament, it is his ultimate desire to invest and hugely support education in the constituency.
Since his assumption into office as Member of Parliament, he have made the following gains in area of education,

Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana have support over fifty (50) tertiary students with their school fees ranging from five hundred Ghana Cedis(500) to three thousand (3,000) to brilliant but needy students across the constituency from his share of the common fund and from the social investment fund (SIF).

In June, 2017 He supported the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates with one thousand three hundred and fifty (1350) mathematical sets. He also donated public address system to the Bole Senior High School for their entertainment, Oral English Test Practice and other social events, in addition a fat healthy bull was also donated to the Bole Senior High School to augment the protein needs of the students.

June, 2018 He supported once again the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates with one thousand four hundred and fifty-six (1456) mathematical sets. He donated sports equipment to the Ghana Education Service Sports Federation such over 30 new track suits, running vest, footballs, Volleyballs, handballs, and many more.

He continue his usual donation by given Tinga Community Day SHS a new photocopier.

Considering the importance role early childhood development play in the development of the childs educational foundation, Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana have in consultation with the Bole District Education Directorate identified the Kilampobile kindergarten block which requires urgent renovation and have awarded it to a contractor which has been worked on and handed over.

It is also worth mentioning the support to Jama students union to complete a community library where He donated thirty bags of cement, three packets of roofing sheets, two laptops computers and some cash of GH¢5,000 were given.

Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana have contributed an amount of three thousand Ghana Cedis to support the EDUCATIONAL ENDOWMENT FUND of the Vagla Youth Association during their twelve Biennial Congress held in Bole Senior High in 2017 of which He was the Guest Speaker on the theme: Protecting our Natural Resources for Sustainable Development, A responsibility for all.

2. HEALTH
One of the top most priority of Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana is good health care delivery in the constituency, hence the health sector was not left out in his quest to develop the constituency. Health they say is wealth. Pursuant to achieving this, the MP supplied ten hospital beds to ten CHPS compounds out of the 25 CHPS compounds in the constituency. Two laptops computers, assorted drugs and consumables were donated to the Bole District Health Directorate for use in the various health centers and CHPS compounds. As part of efforts and measures adopted to reduce infant mortality rate in the constituency. Our able MP have in consultation with the District Director Ghana Health Service agreed to invest an amount of sixty thousand Ghana Cedis(60,000) to procure twenty-five delivery beds for all the 25 CHPS compounds, bathroom weighing scales and register over 600 aged people on to the National Health Insurance Scheme. These projects have been executed successfully.

A tricycle popularly called motor king has been acquired for the people of Agbodagbo; a fishing community in the western part of Bamboi to be used to cart sick people from that community to the nearest health facility anytime there is an emergency in that community. This is to mitigate their suffering in the short term. Residents of this community in the past have to carry their sick relatives on their shoulders and walk about five miles to chibrinyua CHPS compound for medical attention, in some cases lives are lost due to delays in reaching the health facility in time. he constructed weighing pavilions for Maluwe, Jorboi, Bamboi, to serve as shade for mothers during weighing of the children.

3. AGRICULTURE

During the parliamentary the election 2016 campaigns, the MP interactions with the village folks and farmers across the constituency, reveals that farmers in the constituency have challenges in accessing tractor services during the farming seasons,

Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana quickly acquired two tractors to support these farmers during the 2016 farming season. Though the tractors were only three but they were able to cover over three hundred (3000 acers of farmland 2016. this came as a big relief to the beneficiary farmers as the tractor services was heavily subsidies.

Additional tractor was added to the fleet increasing the number to three in the 2017 farming season, this time the programme covered farmers up to the Tinga and Bandankwanta.

It is also noteworthy that the governments planting for food and jobs policy would have suffered serious setbacks in our constituency if not for the timely intervention of these Mp tractors. Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana has also supported several individual farmers with fertilizers and other farm inputs.

The Bole Vegetables farmers Association were not left out he donated two water pumping machines to help the accessories to boost their farming activities for higher productivity.

4. COMMUNITY/SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT

Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana was heavily endorsed by the good people of Bole-Bamboi Constituency in the 2016 general election to reperenst us in parliament. For that reason he have so far toured the entire constituency on a thank tour to thank and interact with the constituents for honor done him.

Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana have since then made conscious efforts to be present at all times to celebrate in all social events be it celebrations or mourning which is on record, it is highly practically impossible to attend all events. In situations where he couldnt be present, he delegate his party leadership and still found ways of soldiering with you with his representatives and donate his widows might to support the event.

Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana joined over hundreds widows at Teselema during the festive season, these widows were drawn from the entire North Mo Traditional Area. Where they had fun together and MP donated 10 bags of rice, 5 gallons of cooking oil, 1000 mosquito coils and assorted drinks. He have decided to make this event an annual one which he continue to grace annually.

It was also lovely when Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana joined the Dagaati Community of Bamboi to interact with them, celebrate the festive season with them and also handover a public address system they had requested from his good office for their entertainments and other social events.

one cannot forget the MP exciting engagement with the Brifor communities where their annual Gala match was organized. He used the opportunity to donate sets of football jerseys and footballs to the participating teams.

Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana physical presence in the constituency at regular intervals affords him the opportunity to be abreast with challenges confronting us and device strategies to mitigate or remedy them.

5. INFORMATION CENTERS

We are in information age and access to accurate and reliable information is the way to go. With this in mind, Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana has procured the necessary electronic device for the establishment of five community information centers at following communities in the constituency.

1. Mankuma

2. Kakiase

3. Bandankwanta

4. Mandari

5. Tinga

Tinga information center has already take off and the people are enjoying it. It is anticipated that by the close of December 2019 the rest would have started operations.

It is his desire to establish these centers in all the major communities across the constituency by the end his first four years in parliament.
This will go a long way to u be help the disseminate information easily across the constituency.
