B/A TECHIMAN SOUTH MP EMBARKS ON FAMILIARIZATION TOUR AT GHANA NUT.

Honourable member of parliament for Techiman south constituency in the B/A region, Henry Yiadom Boakye has embarked on a familiarization visit to the Ghana NUT Company limited , a company that deals in oil production.

The Company is located within his constituency and as the year begins, the Honourable member saw the need to pay them a visit to obtain first hand information on some of the challenges they encounter as an entity.

Briefing the media after the visit, Hon Yiadom Boakye Stated that, it is the government’s priority to promote industrialization,

hence the introduction of the one district one factory policy,

He further stated that, since the company is also a factory, they are also doing everything within their possible best to support it.

“My reason for coming here is to see some of the things they do and some of the challenges they encounter as a company so I can contribute my quota to the effective production of their services” he stated.

Meanwhile, Administrator for the Ghana NUT companylimited, Clement Akande has been briefing us on some of the challenges they go through.

He made mention of lack of raw materials such as shear nut and soya beans so, government should resource farmers to grow more of the raw materials.

“Our major challenge is lack of raw materials to run our factory especially, shear but and soya beans because there are no funds for farmers to grow more of the raw materials”, Mr. Clement Akande stressed.

He was however hopeful that, since the Honourable member was there in person to access the situation, things Will turn good.
