E/R PEOPLE OF KWAHU AFRAM PLAINS ARE CALLING ON THE GOVERNMENT FOR GOOD ROADS
The people of Kwahu Afram Plains in the Eastern region are calling on the government to help fix their bad roads.
Afram plains which produces varieties of crops, timber and livestock which attracts buyers from far and near places can not boost of their roads.
With the bad nature of the roads robbery issues is commonly recorded and lives of people are in danger. Also the road leading Kwahu Afram Plains North and South gets flooded and muddy preventing cars from going and coming because of its heavy rainfall.
According to the inhabitants their roads are making life difficult for them especially in the rainy season.
They stated how robbers use the nature of their roads to rob them and how it has reduce their sales of market because buyers are not coming. Also they find it difficult to transport their goods to other town and villages for sales.
“We are asking if we are part of Ghana because the kind of income that comes from us into the governments coffers and they have abandoned us like that is heartbreaking”,they mentioned.
The government needs to work on our roads else we will have a Chang of mind,they cautioned.
