A/R: No Road, No Vote—–Residents Roar
Residents of Meduma 80 in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti Region have roared with a no road, no vote threat if government doesn’t rehabilitate the poor road network.
Speaking in an interview with the media, the disgruntled residents bemoaned that, when they reported the issue for redress, the MP, Francisca Oteng – Mensah retorted that she doesn’t construct roads.
They lamented that,due to the poor road, drivers charge high fares they are not supposed to.
They said when it rains drivers don’t ply the road adding they can’t go to work.
“We are very serious this time round.
If our poor road network is not rehabilitated, no Politician should come and campaign here come 2020 elections,” they cautioned.
