W/R Chief will charge politicians campaigning in his community

The Divisional Chief of Wasa Hemeng-Patasie in Wasa Amenfi East municipal in the western region, Nana Afuoteng ll has vowed to charge any ambitious politician who will come campaigning in his community at the 2020 general election campaign, following developmental discrimination on his part.

According to Nana Afuoteng ll “all” the communities in Wasa Amenfi east municipal, especially, Hemeng-Patasie are witnessing a snail pace developmental improvement, jeopardizing the economic growth and progression in Amenfi enclaves.

Political promises, poor achievements

Speaking to Kaakyire Kwasi Afari, Communitywatchdoggh Western Regional correspondent, the chief mentioned that, both the past and current political administrations have earnestly failed the good people of the municipality following their lying political promises made to the constituents lured for votes resulting in poor achievements in the municipal.

Campaign fee

The retard development has gingered the chief to threatens with charges of an amount from politicians as “campaign fee” to give nod to mount the stage for the campaign either than that, they will chase out any campaigner in the community and boycott 2020 elections. When asked about the campaign fee usage, the chief said, the amount will be used as a fund for the community to solve their social challenges instead of relying on the assembly and the central government for support, insisting that they will get their national cake in advance from the politicians who will come fort for campaigning.

Help for health and security

He appeals to non-governmental organizations to come to their aid in terms of financial backbone for the completion of their police station and renovate the dilapidated chip compound to ensure effective health treatments. The Chief hinting on health issues said, their ‘old god’ chip compound has not seen any facelifts and adequate health care equipment making quality health care delivery cumbersome for health workers serving about several communities. Speaking to an anonymous worker, she complained bitterly of the lack of support from the community. Adding that, patients folders are left barely on the floor due to lack of cupboard to ensure proper records. Notwithstanding, inadequate table and chairs for patients and staffs are their major challenge as far as health issues are concerned, thus, appealing for public assistance.
