FREE EDUCATION OR FREE SHS
Governments worldwide provide electricity, water,support Agric,build roads and Bridges, affordable houses etc and in other to sustain such public amenities,they take light,water etc bills,toll fees,even the affordable houses are not for free.
But how come that every government wants to make education, a very cost intensive adventure, entirely free??
Nana ADDO doesn’t know what he’s doing,somebody tell him to listen to common sense! ! ! !
All countries that have made education free have all developed.
Britain made education free immediately after the 2nd world war, at a time their economy was in shambles.
The 1992 promulgators of our constitution were not civilized enough to know that:
“WE DON’T LOOK FOR MONEY OR RESOURCES TO MAKE EDUCATION FREE, WE RATHER MAKE EDUCATION FREE TO GET THOSE MONIES” said by me, DJ PRODDY.
We need to channel all our little resources into education and that will in the shortest near future,rake in more revenue to cater for the rest of sectors of the economy.
Our successive governments should’ve continued Nkrumah’s free education.
“We don’t need natural resources, grants,loans,bonds,aids etc to develops, we need heroes/heroines” said by me, DJ PRODDY.
However, heroes/heroines don’t be,they’re made to be.
And those heroes/heroines are begotten in the hinterlands, by poor parents.
Most of them are orphans, street children,neglected and marginalised.
So making education free,and accessible (ie. In every community) will surely engulf them.
That’s why American and co governments take responsibilities of their kids.
Cos the amount of resources that will be wasted in properly catering for eg. a particular year’s batch of school children throughout their childhood till they become professionals,will just be a fraction of the benefit a single hero/heroin amongst them will bring on board.
Think of Bill Gates, Michael Jackson, C. Ronaldo etc.
Bill Gates is richer than the whole Ghana’s economy.
BUT WE GOT 1,000s OF BILL GATES IN GHANA, THINK OF APOSTLE SARFO.
However, making education 100% free, without 100% accessibility, THEN FORGET IT! ! Also, 100% free and 100% accessible, without quality, THEN FORGET IT.
AND ABOVE ALL, NOT COMPULSORY, THEN FORGET IT AS WELL.
Compulsory because most guardians will not take their wards to school. So we need 100% literacy rate in Africa.
Donald Regan,former US prez said:” one ignorant American’s vote can destroy the whole of America. . .”.
Ask yourself a question, how many ignorant voters do we have on our voters register,as a result of who’s votes that a person like Nana ADDO became a President and a party like NPP still came into power after burning a whole ministry to escape accountability when they’re leaving office.
Pls tell Nana ADDO, that we don’t need free SHS,we need free,accessible, quality and compulsory education NOW! !
NOT FOR A POLITICAL PARTY TO STAY IN POWER,BUT FOR THE FUTURE OF THIS COUNTRY.
